The short version

Pro Screen Recorder does not collect, store, transmit or sell any user data. Ever. Everything the extension does happens locally on your computer.

Screen, microphone and camera

The extension captures your screen, microphone and camera only while you are actively recording, and only after you explicitly select a source and grant permission. The captured media is processed entirely in your browser and saved as a video file to your own Downloads folder. It is never uploaded, analyzed or shared.

Settings

Your recording preferences (resolution, format, audio options, etc.) are stored using Chrome's built-in extension storage. If you are signed into Chrome, Chrome may sync these preferences across your own devices. They contain no personal information.

What we don't do

• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No accounts, no sign-ups
• No remote servers — the extension makes no network requests
• No third-party services or SDKs
• No access to your browsing history or website content

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
